International Energy Sector Negotiations

Oleksandr Nefyodov, Chairman of the Board of the Public Union “Alliance for Sustainable Development of Ukraine,” held a trilateral video conference with representatives of Turkish companies and a Romanian company operating in the energy sector, who are considering joining the Alliance.

During the переговори, the Romanian side presented potential areas of cooperation to the Turkish partners, including the implementation of projects related to power plant construction, transformer equipment repair, and other energy-related services.

The discussions were extensive due to certain challenges in the Turkish side’s understanding of specific aspects of Romanian legislation. To address these issues, the Alliance proposed engaging a partner law firm in Romania to provide legal support and assist in the preparation of the necessary documentation for participation in energy projects.

These negotiations aim to strengthen effective international cooperation in the energy sector, as well as to expand the network of international partners and prospective members of the Alliance.

The Alliance for Sustainable Development of Ukraine serves as a platform for bringing together businesses, the expert community, and international partners to implement infrastructure and investment projects in Ukraine. The organization continues to expand its international cooperation, creating new opportunities to attract investment and foster the development of key sectors of the economy.
