GS "Alliance of Sustainable Development of Ukraine", Uzhhorod City Council, and UC "Vodokanal of Uzhhorod" Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

The Uzhhorod City Council hosted the official signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Public Union "Alliance of Sustainable Development of Ukraine", the Uzhhorod City Council, and the Utility Company "Vodokanal of Uzhhorod".

The document certifies the intentions of the parties to join forces for the implementation of joint projects aimed at the modernization of municipal infrastructure, implementation of modern ecological and energy-efficient solutions, and attraction of investments and international technical assistance.

The Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the GS "Alliance of Sustainable Development of Ukraine" Oleksandr Nefodov, Uzhhorod City Mayor Bohdan Andriiv, and the Director of the UC "Vodokanal of Uzhhorod" Stanislav Kartashov.

One of the key areas of cooperation is the joint preparation and submission of project applications to the programs of the United Nations, international organizations, donor institutions, funds, and programs of international technical assistance. This aims to attract additional resources for the implementation of projects vital to the life of the Uzhhorod community. Among the core priorities of interaction is the development of project solutions for the city's critical infrastructure objects, particularly in the field of water supply and wastewater disposal. The parties will pay special attention to the opportunities for modernizing UC "Vodokanal of Uzhhorod", increasing its energy efficiency, and ensuring the stable operation of the enterprise.

The cooperation also entails the exchange of expert information, preparation of proposals regarding the implementation of modern infrastructural and energy solutions, as well as an active search for opportunities to attract investments, grant funding, and partner support.
