Groundwork is being laid in Uzhhorod for the construction of a modern biogas complex

At the initiative of Oleksandr Nefyodov, Chairman of the Board of the Public Union “Alliance for Sustainable Development of Ukraine”, the preparatory phase for an infrastructure project in the fields of renewable energy and environmental sustainability has been launched.

A German developer, Mr. Huber, has been invited to participate in the project presentation.

The project envisages the processing of organic waste and wastewater sludge with the generation of electricity and heat, contributing to reducing the burden on the region’s infrastructure.

“We aim to introduce best European practices in Ukraine that will enable cities not only to address waste management challenges but also to generate additional energy resources,” said Oleksandr Nefyodov.

Preparations are currently underway for a joint meeting in Uzhhorod with representatives of local authorities, project developers, and potential investors.
