Energy Independence and Modern Eco-Technologies: Uzhhorod Hosts Strategic Meeting with International Partners

On May 27, 2026, an official working meeting was held in Uzhhorod at the initiative of Oleksandr Nefyodov, Chairman of the Board of the Public Union “Alliance for Sustainable Development of Ukraine”, bringing together representatives of the Uzhhorod City Council, international partners, and members of the investment and expert community.

The meeting featured the presentation of a modern biogas complex project developed and designed by Herbert Huber, as well as innovative technological solutions in the fields of alternative energy, energy generation, and environmentally safe organic waste processing.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue technical and organizational coordination regarding prospective areas of cooperation. Preparations are currently underway for the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Uzhhorod City Council and the Public Union “Alliance for Sustainable Development of Ukraine”, along with further development of implementation mechanisms for the relevant projects.
